Estimating Our state-of-the-art computerized estimating department produce precise, detailed proposals in an expeditious manner. Digitized estimating contributes to a timely turnaround for proposals. A comprehensive database of materials, pricing and labor provides quick access to information, speeding up the estimating process. And to ensure nothing has been overlooked, each and every estimate is reviewed by a team of experienced estimators.

Pre-Planning and Design Pre-planning is an essential component to every project at Armistead Mechanical. We follow each project from conception to completion, one stage at a time. The Armistead design team takes a project from the conceptual stage to the finished, engineered product. We pinpoint the criteria for your project first. Then we custom-develop a mechanical system for you from cost estimate through performance parameters and optional operating cost analysis.

Procurement Armistead maintains excellent working relationships with our vendor-partners to ensure project schedules and engineer specifications are met within budget and schedule. Our Purchasing Department works closely with the Estimating and Project Management teams to pre-purchase material and equipment in order to meet tight deadlines. Because tools ad shop inventory are essential to every project, Armistead Mechanical boasts more than 35,000 square feet of shop and fabrication space. Our shops are stocked with the latest stated-of-the-art tools, equipment, materials and inventory to support our jobsites quickly and efficiently.

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Armistead maintains an established QA/QC Program. This pre-production through project completion plan is administered by our QA/QC Manager and Project Manager who ensure customer and project requirements are met. At the preconstruction phase, QA/QC procedures include documentation and material controls, inspection and testing of all equipment and vendors, reporting and system validation.
