Kevin Armistead

CEO & President

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Vermont College and has more than forty years of industry experience in management, estimating and purchasing. His expertise lies in plumbing, HVAC and process piping. Kevin is a graduate of the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute. He is a past President of the MCANJ and currently serves on the MCANJ Finance, Legislative and Labor Policy Committees. At the national level, he is a member of the MCAA Government Affairs Committee. In addition, he is a Trustee for the Plumbers & Pipefitters National Pension Fund as well as a Trustee for UA Local 274 benefit funds.

Robert P. Armistead

CFO

Rob has thirty years of mechanical contractor experience in estimating, procurement, project management, accounting, and finance. He is a graduate of the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute and serves on the MCAA Management Methods Committee. Rob is a Trustee for UA Local 24 Plumbers benefit funds. He is also a member of the CFMA.

Kane Armistead

Vice President, Operations – AMI Services, Inc.

Kane completed a Bachelor of Science degree at Keene State College and is a graduate of the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute. He obtained LEED AP certification and is a NJ Master HVACR license holder. Kane is responsible for all daily operations and profitability of Armistead’s affiliate service company. He serves as a Trustee for UA Local 373 benefit funds. Kane also serves on the MCAA Education Committee and the MSCA Labor Relations Committee.

Joseph Jerkowski, P.E.

Chief Operations Officer

Joe holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University and has thirty-five years of experience in design and construction management in plumbing, HVAC and process piping. As a Professional Engineer, he is adept at managing projects from design to completion in the heavy industrial, pharmaceutical, hospital, water treatment and technology fields. Joseph joined Armistead in 1994, and he is a graduate of the MCAA Advanced Leadership Institute. Joe currently holds master plumbing and HVAC licenses in Rockland County and Putnam County New York.

Vice President, Operations

Rich possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan College and has more than twenty-five years of major account, project management, and operations experience. As a Professional Engineer, he has managed projects from inception through completion for many Fortune 500 companies in the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and industrial sectors.

Eric Evans

Chief Estimator

Eric has a Bachelor of Science degree from Kean University and over thirty years of experience with Armistead in estimating, purchasing and project management. He has managed numerous hospital, pharmaceutical, industrial, and commercial projects and is adept at all facets of budgeting and computerized estimating. Eric serves as a Trustee for UA Local 475 benefit funds and has been a long-time mentor and consultant to the MCAA student chapter at Farleigh Dickinson University.

Bryan Armistead

VDC Manager

Bryan is a graduate of The Culinary Institute of America. He completed a five-year apprenticeship with UA Local 373, worked as a Journeyman, and then a Foreman for 10 years supervising plumbing, HVAC and piping projects. He currently manages the company’s Virtual Design and Construction efforts and the layout of mechanical projects using 3D and BIM related technology. Bryan currently holds several master plumbing licenses in both New York and New Jersey.

Project Manager

John graduated from Johnson & Wales University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He has more than eight years of experience managing mechanical construction projects primarily in the healthcare industry.

Human Resources / Marketing Manager

Karen has more than 20 years of corporate experience in human resources and information technology. In addition, she has worked for Armistead almost 20 years managing human resources and marketing efforts. She attended Ramapo College and is an SHRM member.

Robert T. (Bob) Armistead was an extraordinary businessman and a highly regarded leader in the industry. Serving as a professional engineer where he was licensed in both New York and New Jersey, a third generation mechanical contractor, and a proud member of Plumbers Local Union No. 14 in New Jersey. He served over 20 years as a management trustee on a number of benefit funds for the United Association of Pipe Trades throughout the states of New Jersey and New York and maintained excellent relations with the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe fitters at the national level.

Robert was an active member of the Mechanical Contractors Association of America’s (MCAA) national board of directors since 2003, before becoming the national president of the MCAA in 2010. He remained active in the association on both the national and local levels, serving on the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe fitters International Training Fund Board of Trustees and the UA/MCAA Strategic Planning Committee.
In addition, he was a board Chairman of the Mechanical Contracting Education and Research Foundation (MCERF) and a national board member of the Architecture Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program of America, Inc., representing the (MCAA).
